Different today, as I delve into the history of Rand Roll through the bestselling affiliates by each year.

Rand Roll is the hub of my exploration of the rpg world or random tables, and existed before I started publishing my own titles. Part of that is the PDF Guides, which recommend random tables and solo titles..
This tracks the history of the site through top number of affilates (by sales), ignoring my own titles. From the Guild days through many sci-fi and cyberpunk titles, to the increase of solo titles in recent years.

The first full year of Rand Roll, and my first year publishing on DM's Guild. Some of the random tables on the site were Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay related. A few affiliates were simply popular on the Guild.
- 1) Warhammer Fantasy Role Play : Ubersreik Adventures - Mad Men of Gotheim from Cubicle 7 is an adventure in the setting for the starter kit. (I've no idea why this was no 1 that year)
- 2) Hamund's Harvesting Handbook: A Comlete Guide to Harvesting and Crafting in D&D 5e by Jasmine Yang on DM's Guild
- 3) Saltmarsh: People, Places and Shops by Hobby Sage and Page Bonifaci was in a Guide to Saltmarsh tools and titles.
- 4) 100 Non-Combat Random Encounters (the North) from DungeonsandDjinn was a popular Pay-what-you-want (affiliates only showed if buyer paid anything for it)
- 5) Hamund's Harvesting Handbook: Volume 2 by Jasmine Yang on DM's Guild.
- 6) Warhammer Fantasy Role Play : Ubersreik Adventures - Bait and Witch from Cubicle 7
- 7) 100 Non-Combat Random Encounters (Coastal) from DungeonsandDjinn was another PWYW.
- 8) Nerzugal's Dungeon Master Toolkit by Steven Williams is a huge pay-what-you-want toolkit on DM's Guild for D&D 5e.
- 9) Old School Hacks Vol. 1: Hexcrawling - Wilderness Exploration and Random Encounters by Tim Bannock was a take on old-school hexcrawling for 5e. Covered in an interview in 2020.

At the start of 2023 after the Wizards OGL shit, the site took a right turn into solo RPGs and system-neutral tables. And we've stayed there pretty much since. Two solo tools at 1 and 10. Also no more D&D affiliates in top 10, but mostly dicegeeks
