The non-player characters (NPCs) of the complex serve many functions. Many serve the Sorcerer, others are visitors or actively oppose them.

There are many treasures to be found in the complex. Carried by leaders and NPCs, in the treasure of a monster or in a hidden cache.

To create an NPC, choose or roll for the descriptor and profession. Then optional add Extra Details for their appearance and extras.

5 unkempt hair or a whip is former friend (or foe) of a character

Magic Items of the Complex

1 magical rope that can bind and tie on command. It will try to strangle its owner at an inconvenient time; or a potion of invisibility
2 large jewel in a statue. A potent weapon against the Sorcerer [ARC]
3 enchanted sword, which can flare up in flames once per day [FIR]
4 blue candle, that keeps back all fear while it burns [SAC]
5 animated pick (or spade) that digs holes until ordered to stop [DWA]
